


Camp Karoondinha (also known as "Camp K") is owned and operated by the Susquehanna Council, Boy Scouts of America, and is located on more than 400 acres in western Union County along Penns Creek, approximately 15 minutes from Mifflinburg. The camp is utilized during the summer season for the Susquehanna Council's resident camping programs. Camp K remains one of Central PA's finest camping facilities and includes 11 campsites, five cabins, an air-conditioned dining hall, 2 modern shower/restroom buildings, a swimming pool, a lake and 5 miles of marked hiking trails. Camp Karoondinha is dedicated to offering people the chance to experience the beauty of the outdoors in a variety of ways including summer resident camping programs and all-year camping opportunities.
Grange Park is the place to be for Penn State tailgating! Spacious RV sites have electric and water hookups and shuttle buses are available. Grange Park can also be rented for weddings, 5Ks and more!

Lake Heron Retreat is a hidden gem in Liverpool, Perry County, PA. There are 240 acres of woodland with many hiking trails and a 10-acre lake. The lake provides excellent fishing as well as boating and swimming. Preserving the natural resources and wildlife habitat is one of the main goals of the owners. The peaceful and quiet, uncrowded atmosphere bring families back year after year. There are two primitive cabins and ten RV sites. The pavilion can also be reserved for families and larger groups with tent camping next to the pavilion. There are showers and flush toilets on the RV campground side of the lake, with the primitive cabins on the opposite side. There is a pit toilet and no electricity or water on the "Mohawk" side. Your Destination For Memories That Last Forever! Little Mexico is nestled down in the Central PA Valley and spans over 42 acres. Penns Creek runs through the middle of the campground for all to enjoy. A wide variety of site accommodations and group camping areas are available. Little Mexico has three ponds for fishing, two new playgrounds, a jumping pillow and activities for everyone to enjoy.
Penn Avon offers camping from April 1st to October 31st. All sites are full hook-ups with WiFi and Cable TV. Open November through March for monthly site rentals.
R. B. Winter State Park covers 695 acres. The focal point of the park is Halfway Lake which is filled by spring-fed mountain streams and contained by a hand-laid, native sandstone dam. Open year-round, the park provides diverse opportunities for recreation. Seventeen miles west of Lewisburg on State Route 192.
