Flavors, Festivals & Seasonal Highlights
Get a taste of our region by visiting a few of our many wineries and breweries. In addition to serving tasty local beverages, many host live music, happy hours, trivia, tastings, or other special gatherings to keep you coming back. Seasonal wine trails reward you for discovering multiple regional vineyards, while Mifflinburg Oktoberfest celebrates all things beer with a traditional German celebration.
Enjoy the flavors of autumn, including apple cider and everything pumpkin, at harvest and fall festivals held throughout the Susquehanna River Valley. You’ll often find your favorite food trucks parked there, too. Food vendors can also be found at many of our winter markets — and don’t forget the hot chocolate!
In February, enjoy a Sip and Stroll through downtown Lewisburg during the Ice Festival and enjoy wine, beer, spirits, and treats at several local businesses. Once the weather begins to thaw, spring is a great time to visit our farmers’ markets for fresh meat, dairy, produce, and baked goods.
Fair season begins in the summer and stretches through the fall. Food plays a huge part in these bustling community gatherings. You can stick to your favorite fair dishes like funnel cake or sausage sandwiches, or get adventurous and discover new flavors.

Every season brings unique food and drink experiences to our region, so you’ll want to return again and again.
