10 Things Not to Miss this Fall

The fun just gets better as summer slides into autumn. Enjoy cooler temperatures and gorgeous fall colors while attending numerous fairs and festivals, taking a winery or brewery tour, finding tons of good old-fashioned fun on the farm, experiencing the spooks and spirits of Halloween festivities, and attending a thrilling or thought-provoking art exhibit or theatre performance. We've prepared a list of "Not to Miss" Autumn Events and Activities in the Susquehanna River Valley.

Head to Banty Rooster in Lewisburg, PA, and explore their corn maze featuring a family fun park, a corn cannon, pumpkin bowling, and of course, the opportunity to choose that perfect pumpkin to carve! Make sure to visit Banty Rooster's Candy Co. and Soda Bar while you are there.

Navigate the corn maze set on 7 acres of fields and 3.6 miles of trails. Challenge your friends and family to games within the maze and see who can find their way through the maze quickest. Enjoy a half-hour hayride through the countryside and a covered bridge. Visit the pumpkin patch to shoot the corn cannon and punkin’ chunkin launcher and then pick your pumpkin for Jack-o-lantern carving. Holiday fun begins in their 12,000 square-foot Christmas Shoppe featuring more than 80,000 ornaments and additional decorations. Kohl's puts a new spin on Fall Fun!

Every fall in the Susquehanna River Valley, local growers reap the rewards of the summer growing season by showcasing their bounty at roadside stands and farm markets in the scenic countrysides of Central PA. There is nothing quite like enjoying the jams, jellies, baked goods, and fresh peaches, apples, squashes and pumpkins straight from the field! Nearby towns offering weekly farmers markets include Elysburg, Lewisburg, Mount Carmel, Selinsgrove and Watsontown.

The Susquehanna River Valley is a beautiful valley steeped in lore and undiscovered treasures – a region rich in cultural heritage.
