Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Susquehanna River Valley on your way to your favorite winery. Stroll through a vineyard surrounded by glorious views, relax on the deck while enjoying local musicians and enjoy tastings of favorite varieties. The sense of changing seasons is as beautifully apparent as the layers of flavor in a great glass of wine. There are eleven wineries in the Susquehanna River Valley for you to try. Throughout the season, you’ll find everything from specialty cocktails, craft beers and artisanal ciders to desserts and dishes featuring the popular flavors of each season. Winery & Brewery Events.

According to the Pennsylvania Wine Association, the state ranks fourth nationally in amount of grapes grown and Pennsylvania also ranks eighth in the production of wine produced. The Susquehanna River Valley is home to eleven family-owned wineries, all of which offer unique vintage wines, fun seasonal events and beautiful picturesque settings. Established in 2011, Broad Mountain Vineyard produces 20+ wines and over 15 varieties of cider a year. Enjoy music every Saturday night and other events throughout the month at our winery/cidery/vineyard/event venue.

Visit the backwoods hometown hospitality at all eight Buddy Boy locations. Experience award-winning wines and plenty of laughter. Now serving artisan wood-fired pizza and stromboli, as well as, wood-fired 3/4 lb. angus burgers and fresh cut fries. Enjoy wood-fired rib eye steaks on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Catino Vino was established in 1996 with one mission: to bring a high-quality Winemaking Supply Store to the Coal Region and preserve the area's heritage with specialty wines and Italian meats. With grapes and juices coming from all over the world, Catino's offers the local area a passport to the world of wine. They are also your source for beer making supplies, homemade cured meats and a variety of imported cheeses.

Dalvino Wine Company is a family-owned and -operated winery in Central PA offering online sales. Their local wines are hand-crafted in small batches staying true to an Italian proverb, "In small barrels, there is good wine." For more information, email [email protected].

Located just off Route 15, Fero Vineyards and Winery features unique fine dry and sweet wines grown and produced in Pennsylvania. A lovely event room is available for business meetings, private parties or to just enjoy some wine and beer. A new vineyard-side wedding pavilion is open for larger events.

Kulpmont Winery produces a full line of wine selections from sweet and dessert wines to fruit and traditional dry wines. They use high quality juice from some of the best growing areas in the world: New York, California, Italy and South America. The different harvest times of these regions allow ​Kulpmont Winery to produce high quality wines all year round with new vintages coming out every several months.

Neighbor Lady Vino, located at 214 Tabernacle Rd., New Columbia is a winery established in 2022. The relaxed and inviting lounge area makes this a true winery destination. Their winemaker, with almost twenty years experience, enjoys creating quality wines that the novice wine drinker or the experienced palate will enjoy. Visit and meet the friendly staff, try a tasting flight, glass or one of their Signature Drinks.

Shade Mountain is a family-owned and -operated 70-acre vineyard with more than 30 varieties of grapes from which all the award-winning wines are made. Complimentary daily wine tastings are offered.

A unique winery located in a renovated 1814 bank barn just outside of Sunbury, PA, Spyglass plays host to large concerts and many types of events. A large selection of dry and sweet wines are available. Fifteen acres of vines and an on-site micro-brewery round out the Spyglass experience.

The wine trail promotes wineries and local attractions of Central Pennsylvania. Every March, visitors and local residents can purchase a ticket to the Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail featuring great food and wine at the 16 wineries of the wine trail. This family-owned and -operated vineyard, winery, tasting room and event venue offers delicious wines along with breathtaking views from the patio or observation deck. Indoor accommodations for up to 300 guests. Conveniently located on Route 61 just south of Sunbury, Whispering Oaks Vineyard offers the perfect location to enjoy a toast to life and the love of it. Don't Miss the Region's Signature Wine Trail Events!

A Heartland Christmas is a celebration of home, family and friends and takes place on late November and early December weekends. 

The Wine Trail kicks off again in March of every year. Tickets to this annual, month-long event can be purchased at any of the participating wineries. Wineries provide wine tastings daily, and some provide food and entertainment on the weekends.
