Participant Requirements Agreement and Deadlines

SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY RESTAURANT WEEK
Sunday, April 19 through Sunday, April 26, 2020

  • Restaurant must be a member of the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau.
  • Must offer a price fixed, three course, daily dinner menu offered Sunday through Sunday.
    • Your price fixed dinner menu must offer at least one appetizer, entrée and dessert.
    • Menu must be a depiction of the restaurant’s specialties, chef’s culinary talents, house favorites.
    • Menu pricing does not include beverages, additional menu items, tax or gratuity.
    • Menu must be printed and provided to each customer during the course of the program.
    • Menu exclusions (beverages, additional menu items, tax, and gratuity) must be included on all menus.
  • Restaurants must educate all servers on the program terms and details to ensure high quality, knowledgeable service for consumers.
  • Restaurants are able to offer their full menu in addition to the Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week menu.
  • Restaurants are required to provide the following information to be used for Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week Promotions:
    • Restaurant Name
    • Hours
    • Website
    • Phone #
    • SRV Restaurant Week Menu
    • Prices
    • Logo
    • Photo [high resolution]
    • The Visitors Bureau will use your logo [and applicable photos] to create PDFs of your submitted menus [Prix Fixe and other dining options] to post on Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week’s dedicated website and will be sent to you prior to March 13, 2020 for you to print and distribute to your patrons during Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week and to post on your websites and social media outlets.
    • This information is due no later than Friday, February 7, 2020.
  • Restaurants are required to track the number of Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week menus served over the course of the program.
  • Restaurants will be asked to complete a post-event survey (sent from the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau) to gain feedback and data on the success of the program.
  • Restaurants are required to display marketing materials (provided by the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau) in their restaurant beginning Friday, March 13, 2020. 
  • Restaurants must promptly resolve any significant customer complaints brought to their attention by the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau.
  • Restaurants agree to not promote their participation in Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week in advance of the release by the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau unless authorized by the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau.
  • Restaurants agree that the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau can name their restaurant as a Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week participant and include their logo and/or name in any promotional materials.

Restaurant Week Promotions do not include:

  • Daily Specials or Discounts
  • Half price promotions
  • BOGO:  Free item with the purchase of an entrée, food item or beverage.
  • Any specials the restaurant would promote during any other week in the year.

Application and Menus Deadlines:

  • There is no cost to participate.
  • Applications along with final menus and dining options must be submitted to Judy Machesic, Member Services Director at [email protected] no later than Friday, February 7, 2020 to be included in Susquehanna River Valley Restaurant Week.
