Text to 9-1-1

Call If You Can, Text When You Can’t

The best & most efficient way to establish a quicker emergency response is to call 9‐1‐1.

A voice call to 911 is far better than texting because if additonal information is needed, you are able to provide it freely vs. the time it takes to text. Calling from a landline or cell phone will also help provide 9‐1‐1 with your location. Voice Communication is best whenever possible.
