Lewisburg Children’s Museum
The LCM is currently open Wednesdays 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Fridays 10:00 am-4:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am-5:00 pm. Advanced ticket registration is required due to capacity restrictions. Check the LCM website or Facebook: Lewisburg Children’s Museum for upcoming events and programming.

 



T & D's Cats


Zoos & Wildlife Parks

T & D’s Cats of the World wild animal rescue reopens the first weekend in May 2021! Visit nearly 300 rescued wild mammals at T & D's, including 50 felines (lions, tigers, cougars, bobcats and servals), bears, wolves, monkeys and more. Stroll through 35 acres to see these animals in spacious natural enclosures, then visit hundreds of birds in T & D's Aviary!

Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland
Spring Hours: Now through March Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM. April and May Open weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM & weekends from 10 AM to 6 PM. Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Special Events:

  • Heat Wave Weekend – March 20-21 - enjoy specialty shows featuring animals from warm climates (the desert and the tropical rain forest

  • Creature Feature! Two-Toed Sloth March 13 - We partnered with Lake Tobias Wildlife Park to bring you face-to-face with a fascinating species not normally exhibited here at Reptiland. See a sloth up-close and learn about them from knowledgeable experts. The animal will be on display in the Exhibit Gallery for all-day viewing, and you’ll be able to ask questions about them as well.

  • Komodo Dragon Feeding – Visit the last Saturday of the month to witness a special Komodo dragon feeding! (This natural occurrence may not be for the faint of heart!) Starts at 11am.

  • Susquehanna Scenes, Sips, & Scales - May 7, 6-8pm. The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and Clyde Peeling's Reptiland invite you to an evening of Susquehanna Scenes, Sips, and SCALES! Mark your calendars for a night of fun, food, wine, friends and reptiles among the scenes of the 2019 and 2020 Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contests.

Lake Tobias Wildlife Park

Soft opening in April
Lake Tobias will open only for safari tour drive-thrus (visitors use own vehicles)  for three weekends in April.
April 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25.  The safari drive-thru will be open from 10am – 3pm. 
The rest of the park will open May 1 at which time we will continue the safari drive-thrus (until given CDC clearance to resume regular tours) and all exhibits will open (with capacity restrictions on indoor building exhibits as required by CDC).
Lake Tobias Wildlife Park hours beginning May 1-23, Sat. & Sun. 9:30am - 7pm, Mon. - Fri. 12- 6pm.

Penn's Cave & Wildlife Park

Penn's Cave is America's only all-water cavern and farm-nature-wildlife park. Enjoy our 90-minute, guided Farm-Nature-Wildlife Tour given by bus through the Penn’s Cave grazing pastures, mountain trails and forests. Penns Cave also features a 45-50 minute fully guided tour of the all-water cavern, given entirely by boat and a large visitors center, gift shop, gem-panning, maze and cafe. Open 9am-5pm. Opening Weekend BOGO - Buy One Ride All Day Pass, Get One Free (of equal or lesser value- free pass must be used same day of purchase, valid opening day weekend only)
America's largest free-admission amusement park also offers free parking, free daily entertainment and free picnic facilities. Take a dip in the 900,000-gallon Crystal Pool filled with refreshing mountain stream water. The pool area includes waterslides, diving boards and a play area just for young children. Stay overnight at one of two campgrounds that include cabins and over 800 campsites. In addition to over 60 rides, award-winning food, swimming, games, miniature golf and gift shops, visitors can add a round of golf at Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course right next door to the park.

Corning Museum of Glass, Corning NY

Hoopla’s Family Fun & Longshots Grill, Muncy

Current Arcade Hours: Tuesday-Thursday: 11am-8pm, Friday & Saturday: 11am-9pm, Sunday: 11am-7pm.

Hoopla’s Xtreme Family Fun

Hoopla’s Xtreme Family Fun located in Shamokin Dam offers hours of fun and excitement. Trampolines, Sky Rail Rope Course, Arcade, Mini Bowling, 18-Hole Outdoor Mini Golf Course, Toddler Zone, Snack Xpress and much more.

Treasure Castle Playland is the place amazing childhood memories are made. Treasure Castle is the area's newest indoor children's playground featuring twenty-foot-high tunnels and slides, panning for treasure, food court, games, free WiFi and costumed staff. It's not your average kids place - it's a CASTLE!

Union County Library System
Browsing the collection and making an appointment to use a computer will be available at two libraries, Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg and West End Library in Laurelton. Due to active construction and renovation at the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg, it is only safe to continue lobby pick-up services.

    • Open for browsing (15-minute browsing sessions if number of patrons passes capacity)
