Be sure you don't miss a single thing this winter. We have lots of fun learning opportunities planned, including a return of Robotics Club, ASL for Kids, Hot Chocolate Workshops, and MORE!

WEBB Space Telescope Launch Party
On Saturday, January 15 at 10:30 am-12:30 pm, join us to view the launch of NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. Expert Dr. Joel Leja from Penn State University will be here for a presentation at 11:30am. Activity stations provided by the National Informal Stem Education Network. Program is free with general admission or museum membership. Recommended for children 6 and up. 


MLK Day: No school? No problem! Create colorful playdough as we discuss diversity, make a collage to express the ideas MLK stood for, and enjoy a story about Mr. King. Program is free with general admission or museum membership. Recommended for children ages 4 and up.
Hot Chocolate Workshop
Join us for this sensory preschool workshop as each child and caregiver pair will mix and make a batch of hot chocolate playdough in celebration of National Hot Chocolate Day! Mold, play, and leave with a hot chocolate sensory kit. Program is recommended for children ages 3-6 and their caregiver. Cost is $5 per child plus general admission or membership. Two session times to choose from.
Toddler Time at the LCM
Weekly on Mondays⋅10:30 – 11:00am Toddler Time is an interactive program for children ages 2-5 and their caregiver. Toddler Time includes a story, sing-a-long, and/or hands-on learning activities. Program is included with general admission or membership.
exSTREAM Saturdays
Weekly on Saturdays⋅10:30am – 12:30pm
 Each week we'll explore a different STREAM theme- Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, or Math- where you can participate in an activity, experiment, or craft at the museum. This program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for ages 4 and up.
Exciting New Classes!
Join us on Sunday afternoons 1:00 pm-2:45 pm (February 6- March 6) to set sail on an international journey, visiting a new country each session. Learn about the culture and language of each country through hands-on activities, songs or dances with Bucknell University foreign language teaching assistants and faculty. Program recommended for children 6-10 years old and registration is required. $5 per class nonmembers/ $4.50 per class members.

Robotics Club is designed for children 8-12 years old to introduce them to concepts of engineering, hands-on building, mechanics, and programming experience. Participants will learn teamwork and problem-solving skills using the Vex Robotics curriculum. Program recommended for children 8-12 years old. $60 non-members/$54 members.

Help your baby communicate, increase bonding and connection, and open your child’s heart and mind during this special baby and caregiver Sign Language class on Sundays (March 20-April 10) at 10:00 am-10:30 am. Emphasis will be placed upon increasing communication with your child, including appropriate use of signs for such times as meal, bath, and play time. Caregivers will actively participate and learn the signs with their child. Activities will include structured play, pictures, music, and games. Recommended for children 0-3 years old and their caregivers. $36 non-members/$32 members.

Join us in a fun and educational environment, in which children 6-10 years old will learn the basics of American Sign Language and Deaf culture through fun activities, games, and songs. Classes will run for 4 weeks from March 24 - April 14, 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. Masks are required. This after school program is a drop off program. Recommended for children 6-10 years old. $40 non-members/$36 members.
