Intro to Microsoft Word *

WEL- Thurs., June 2 – 4:30 - 5:30 pm

Learn the basics of Microsoft Word, from formatting text to adjusting page options and everything in between. Register Now

Digital Literacy Classes *

HML - Mondays and Thursdays: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Learn basic computer programs like Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and more. Financial management training is also available. Sign up during scheduled times or request a one-on-one session. For more information call the library at 570-966-0831.

Celebrate "Buggy Days" at the Library *

HML- Saturday, June 4 – During Library Hours

Revisit the historic days of horse and buggy with free games and activities for all ages at the library. Popcorn and fresh lemonade will be for sale! Proceeds benefit the Herr Memorial Library.


Brunch Club - Tweens/Teens *

HML- Monday, June 6, 13, & 27 – 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Conversational Spanish *

Discovery Storytime in the Park *

HML- Wednesdays, June 8, 22, & 29 – 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us for crafts, games, songs, and STEM activities at the Mifflinburg Community Park, North 5th Street. For ages 2-6. Sponsored by the Mifflinburg Kiwanis Club. Register Now


Build-an-Ocean Friend Workshop *

HML- Saturday, June 11 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Name and stuff your own ocean friend! Choose from a dolphin, seahorse, shark, or turtle. MUST prepay and place an animal order by May 21.


Wonders of Earth & Space *

PLUC - Tuesday, June 14 – 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Children explore the wonders of Earth and space through hands-on activities. This program is a collaboration of the Public Library for Union County, the Lewisburg Children’s Museum, NASA, and the NISE Network. For ages 6-10.


Cooking with Family *

In honor of Father’s Day, children or families prepare and share a favorite dish their dad makes for them. Register Now


Book Talk & Signing with Kayla Odell *

Build a Lighthouse – STEAM Activity *

Build a lighthouse using a variety of materials to see how tall, big, or crazy you can make it. For ages 8-12. Register Now


“Shadow and Light”

HML- Wednesday, June 22 – 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Meets the last Thursday of each month

Experiment with light and explore the ways that light interacts with objects to create shadows, reflections, and more. This program is a collaboration with the Lewisburg Children’s museum. For ages 2-6.  Held at the Mifflinburg Community Park, North 5th Street.


Ancient Undersea Reptile Show

WEL- Monday, June 27 – 5:00 pm 6:00 pm

Explore life in the ancient seas 70 million years ago. The program features a fun-filled game show with audience participation, a touch of magic, and show & tell with rare fossils. After the show, children will dig for fossils. Learn More


Mythical Creature Day *
