Winter Break Mini Camps are available
Keep the kids engaged this winter break with 4 winter break mini camps with the LCM. They will include exclusive Museum time and hands-on learning experiences.

First, join us for a STEM engineering activity that challenges students to become more empathetic individuals, while learning about and designing an interchangeable prosthetic leg.

On day 2, kids can take off with our flight lab while we explore the concepts of wind and air and test our design skills using found materials and a wind tunnel.

And on day 3, back by popular demand, join us for this humorous engineering workshop where we will use simple machine parts to design a humor-filled chain reaction- Rube Goldberg machine.

Want to have a fuller day experience? Sign up for Interactive Storytelling! During this two-day workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create their very own shadow puppet theater and puppets, becoming the storyteller/puppeteer.  Program recommended for children 6 and up (kindergarten completion is required).

Price adjustments coming in 2023

Admission changes will take effect January 1, 2023. See some important changes:
⭐️General admission will be for those 2 years and older (instead of current 1 year and older policy).
⭐️The Museum will continue our Museums for All program; however, starting in the new year, the cost will be $2 per person for those presenting EBT/SNAP benefits cards.

Did you know the LCM has a wishlist?

Did you know that we spend over $20,000 a year in supplies and staff time to clean the Museum? Sometimes this doesn't leave much room in the budget for other fun things. That's where you come in! The LCM wishlist has numerous items that we need and want to make the best museum experience. Please consider donating an item!
