Once again Christmas is coming early to Downtown Williamsport.

Since 2007 the Community Arts Center Volunteer Corps has been getting in on the Christmas spirit with the annual Skip Hunsinger Christmas Spectacular. Inspired by an event held at the old Capitol Theatre which included a free movie and gifts for children, the Christmas Spectacular has become a modern holiday tradition at the CAC.

This year however Covid has forced the CAC to take a novel approach. In an attempt to keep this event safe for the community, the 14th Annual Spectacular has become a drive-thru experience by vehicle only. At 10:00 am on December 5th cars can start lining up on 4th street in front of the Community Arts Center building to get a goodie bag for their kid(s) and enjoy a few socially distanced Christmas festivities, including a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus!

The Volunteer Corps will be joined by musical guests Repasz Brass, Repasz Winds, and Autumn Breeze Sax Quartet, who will be playing some of your favorite holiday classics!
