Celebrating 250 Years of Heart and Heritage 1772 - 2022

Celebrate the history of Sunbury, the heart of the Susquehanna River, and the heritage of the people who have called it their home!  We are planning a variety of exciting events and activities -- something for everyone to enjoy.  Check back with us frequently for updates.

Heart and Heritage Parade

Kick off a full week of fun with a grand 4th of July parade! The Heart and Heritage 4th of July Parade features an incredible lineup of marching bands, performers, and floats!  Find a place along the parade route and prepare to be awestruck! July 4, 10 AM

Proclamation Ceremony
July 4, 3 pm 

Hear about our history, honor our hometown heroes!
Gather at the gazebo in Cameron Park to hear about our history and honor our hometown heroes. See static displays of military, police, fire, and EMS vehicles.  After the ceremony, enjoy live musical entertainment!

Heart and Heritage Festival

July 5, 4 pm to 10 pm
