Billtown Blues Festival (Cancelled)

Festivals & Fairs

June 12, 2020 to June 14, 2020

Hello Billtown Blues Association friends:This health risk and economic crisis associated with COVID-19 has come at a most critical time for the BBA. We have been in the middle of our most intense planning time in terms of securing volunteers, getting our stage production lined up, finalizing all of the artist contracts and securing their performance needs, negotiating media buys, and our fund-raising effort involving long time sponsors and new sponsors who are joining and supporting the BBA "family".
During an intense virtual Board meeting last week we considered three primary options: to stay on course for June 2020, to postpone until a later September date, or to cancel 2020 and refocus our energy and planning to June 2021.We decided on the latter.

The 31st Annual Billtown Blues Festival will be held
June 11,12,132021.Most all artists contracted for 2020 were able tore-contract with us for 2021.
Last year was a major turning point for us with the 3-day music expansion and the camping option. We want to hang on to that momentum as we plan ahead.

Know that we are looking at rescheduling the previously canceled Audition Concert and look forward to producing other events during the Fall and early Spring as the current situation dictates.

Current Festival ticket holders, music and camping, will be contacted by email regarding the 2020 ticket refund process.

Let's always keep on our minds the performing musicians deeply hurt by this crisis. Many relying on their live performances and related merchandising sales as their only source of income. We look forward enthusiastically, to enjoying their great music when the live music scene kicks in again.

Now on Sunday nights 8 - 10 pm WZXR 99.3 fm and
"Blues by Goodtime Charlie"
