Bursting the Social Bubble: Connecting Work and Life in the Employee Experience

Demonstrations, Lectures, Workshops

November 5, 2020

The Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning will host a free online program, Bursting the Social Bubble: Connecting Work and Life in the Employee Experience, presented by Kendra Aucker, CEO and President of Evangelical Community Hospital, at 12 noon, Thursday, November 5, 2020.

With modern technology, it’s virtually impossible to keep work and life separate. Changes in the way we communicate and work lead our professional lives to bleed into our personal lives. At the same time, our personal lives affect the way we approach work.

Work-life integration is a way we can prioritize and integrate both parts of our identity. Can a focus on social impact truly increase the engagement, recruitment, retention and productivity of employees as well as improve the overall patient experience? How bursting the social bubble empowers individuals will be the focus of this locally centered, evidence-based presentation.

This program is FREE and open to the public.  A link to the Zoom program and instructions will be emailed to each participant. Register by Tuesday, November 3, in one of three ways: 1.     Register online at https://forms.gle/eM2FPiBsXxNNbadJA 2.     Call the BILL Office at 570-522-0105 and leave your name and email address. 3.     Email Heather LeBlanc at [email protected] with your name and email address.
