ADULT & TEEN PROGRAMS SCHEDULE

Teen Readers’ Club
Saturday, May 7 – 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Do you absolutely love books and reading? Then join other teen readers as they discuss their favorite books and genres! This month the group chats about The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Prior reading not required to join the meeting. For ages 14+. Coffee Filter Peonies Take-Home Craft
Tuesday, May 10 – During Library Hours
Let your house bloom this spring with an easy and fun coffee filter craft. Stop by the library during library hours to pick up your supplies and directions. First come first serve while supplies last.

Mah Jongg Club
Tuesday, May 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 - 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Anyone interested in playing the American version of the ancient Chinese tile game are welcome to socialize and play. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library, or registering online.

Conversational Spanish
Thursday, May 5, 12, 19, & 26 – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Linda Kander, Spanish Language Coach, provides an informal setting to learn or to brush up your skills. All levels welcome! Classes are adapted to accommodate the varied skill levels. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library, or registering online.

What’s All the Hoopla?
Monday, May 9 – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Learn how to search and borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comic books, and magazines using Hoopla. (Please note that Hoopla is only accessible to Union County residents). Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library, or registering online.

The Creative Entrepreneur

June 3, 2022

Participants in this in-person event at the Art Academy of Milton will engage with a panel of Central PA Creative Entrepreneurs as they discuss the use of grants such as the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts' Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program, ways in which their own creative businesses were affected by the pandemic, and tips to access new resources and capital. ​Attendees will also connect with other entrepreneurs across industries such as marketing, design, the visual arts, film & media, digital games, music and entertainment, architecture, and publishing.
