World of Little League Museum Tours

The museum traces the history and development of Little League baseball and softball from its roots in Williamsport to around the world. Included are artifacts, interactive exhibits, and Hall of Excellence. Although the museum is temporarily closed to the public, the World of Little League is offering virtual tours (live and pre-recorded) for summer camps, large groups, retirement homes, youth and scouting groups, etc. This is an excellent way to visit the museum even if you live states away.

The tours cost $75. The pre-recorded tour runs about 40 minutes, and the live tour runs 45 min.-1 hour due to interaction with the group and the ability to answer questions on the tour. Live tours will use Microsoft Teams, Zoom or possibly new streaming services.  The delivery of a recorded tour will be determined on a case-by-case basis, usually with a link that is only good for a certain amount of time.

Both types of tours will explore four of the six galleries in the museum.  They are both presented in the same way, with a host guiding them through the galleries and then a mix of live and pre-recorded footage, plus short films that were produced by Little League staff.  However, the live tour can be changed a little as we can focus more on one section/person or add in a special section depending on the group’s interests and preferences.

There is also an option for tour participants to shop from a list of predetermined items from the gift shop an option that is popular with school groups.
