


IN-FILL PA exhibition will take place at multiple venues throughout the Central Susquehanna Valley in Pennsylvania during Spring 2023. IN-FILL PA seeks to engage residents, artists, designers, and firms to share their work to inspire dialogue to address empty/in-fill spaces in communities.
Luminous lacquered cases, vibrantly colored prints, and intricately carved ivories reflect the inventive and yet subversive tastes of the rising urban class in early modern Japan. This exhibition explores the radically transformative power of popular culture both in the past and in our present worlds.
Interested in intersections of seemingly oppositional forces, artist Anna Kell typically explores how binarisms—nature/culture, male/female, trash/glamor—are reinforced by cultural imagery and narratives.
