Take a dip in the Susquehanna River to benefit the Lewisburg Neighborhoods.

It’s time to grab your speedo and register for the internationally celebrated Lewisburg Polar Bear Plunge happening on February 4th at 2:30pm.

This event is always exhilarating and ecstatic as hundreds of people from near and far take the plunge into the frigid Susquehanna River. Some plunge in groups with their workplace, boosters club, fraternity, or family. Many plunge in costume! Safe fun is encouraged.

Thanks to our premier sponsor, The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau, we have been able to invest in giving plungers a better, and more organized, experience.

Tickets cost $15. However, 72 hours before the event starts, the price is raised to $20 per ticket. The first 250 plungers will get a beanie to commemorate the experience. Complimentary hot chocolate is sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts for all attendees. You can buy your tickets here!

For those interested, there will be a plunge parade starting at 2pm at the corner of Market Street & South Front Street down to the boat launch -- meet us there and be led by the Bucknell Pep Band & artwork by Bluebird Atelier down to the plunge site.

This year, the plunge will benefit Lewisburg Neighborhoods, which works on the revitalization of Lewisburg by improving civic engagement, safety, communications, image, streetscapes, and historic preservation.
