Watsontown, PA

Northumberland County Treasure

Following the Susquehanna River to a True Gem

Watsontown offers well-maintained parks and walking trails alongside the Susquehanna River, historic architecture, farmers markets, and great food and entertainment at several locations on Main Street.

Things to See and Do in Watsontown

  • Walk along Watsontown's main streets on foot to see historic architecture from this nearly 100 year old town.
  • Hike or bike alongside the Susquehanna River on the local walking paths.
  • Take in the breathtaking view from the Watsontown River Bridge is breathtaking - but the bridge itself is significant, too. It is an unusual example of a long, multi-span open-spandrel arch bridge having solid barrels rather than individual arch rings.

How to Find Watsontown

From I-80 east or west: Take the Route 147/US-180 exit north/west toward Williamsport. Take the Watsontown exit; turn right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow into downtown Milton.
