“I have lived in the SRV for 20 years now, after spending the first half of my life traveling the US. While other places and people are national treasures, the SRV is a gift that we who live here get to share.” – Cynthia, Liverpool, PA
Walker Lake
For fishing and boating (electric motors only), the 239-acre Walker Lake near Troxelville in western Snyder County, is excellent. The lake and shoreline are owned and managed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Current species include northern pike, largemouth bass, walleye, black crappie, and bluegill. Fishing is also popular at nearby Faylor Lake, a 30-acre resource near Beaver Springs.
