2013 Official Guide to the SRV Now Available
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), which is the Tourism Promotion Agency for Snyder, Northumberland and Union Counties, is pleased to unveil its 2013 Official Guide. The 80-page Guide is the Bureau's key promotional piece for the year with more than 100,000 copies are mailed and distributed each year to prospective tourists and visitors.

Knoebels' Attractions Receive Top Marks in 3 Categories
The National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) named Knoebels Amusement Resort (Elysburg, PA) as the Best Park for Families. In addition, its Phoenix roller coaster was voted by NAPHA members as the Favorite Wood Roller Coaster, and its Black Diamond roller coaster/dark ride was the Best New Attraction. Members also called Knoebels as their second Favorite Traditional Amusement Park.
Bike Trail Maps Now Available
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), is pleased to unveil five newly updated Bike Trails just in time for spring! The bike maps were revised and redesigned by Julieyn Osterhoudt, a spring intern from Temple University.

4th Annual Photo Contest Winners Announced
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce the winners of its Fourth Annual "Every Turn a Treasure" Photo Contest, which took place from August 1, 2011 through January 1, 2012. Nearly 300 digital images were submitted by local residents and visitors.

Choo! Choo! Bring the Family to the Visitors Bureau to See a Model Train Display
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 16-18 bring the kids to see a free model train display at the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau, located at Route 15 and Hafer Road, next to Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. There will be operating trains from today - and even some trains that you may remember from your childhood.

Visitors Bureau Releases New Native American History Brochure
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), which is the Tourism Promotion Agency for Snyder, Northumberland, and Union Counties, has partnered with Katherine Faull, Professor of German and Humanities at Bucknell University and Cindy Inkrote, Director of the Northumberland County Historical Society, to produce a driving tour brochure that highlights the rich Native American and Moravian history in the Susquehanna River Valley.

The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), which is the Tourism Promotion Agency for Snyder, Union and Northumberland Counties, is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual "Every Turn a Treasure" Photo Contest. The photo contest will run from August 2, 2011 through January 1, 2012. Local residents and visitors are encouraged to send digital images to the Visitors Bureau through their website, www.VisitCentralPA.org/PhotoContest. Entrants may submit as many images as they would like.

Visitors Bureau Launches Central PA Mobile Travel App
App available for Free in Apple App Store and Android Market
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), which is the Tourism Promotion Agency for Snyder, Northumberland, and Union Counties, has partnered with MoJo Active, an integrated marketing company in Watsontown, to launch two new Central PA mobile travel apps, one for Android smartphones and one for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The travel apps are the first of their kind in the Central PA region.

New Homegrown in the Valleys Guide and Local Bike Routes Now Available
The Valleys of the Susquehanna, a regional marketing partnership between the Columbia-Montour Visitors Bureau and the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau, is pleased to announce that a new Homegrown in the Valleys agritourism Guide is now available. The guide features 70 local food and agricultural destinations in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union Counties.
Visitors Bureau Recognizes Knoebels Amusement Resort and Sunbury River Festival at Annual Dinner
The Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau (SRVVB), which promotes tourism in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland Counties, recently honored two local organizations for their commitment and dedication to the region's tourism industry. SRVVB and its members honored Fred Scheller, who has chaired the Sunbury River Festival Committee for the past 10 years, with the Dan Baylor Award. The Visitors Bureau also honored Knoebels Amusement Resort with the Herb Bendt Award. The Awards were presented at their Annual Membership Dinner at Tedd's on the Hill in Shamokin Dam on Thursday, May 5.
