Heroes Helping Horses | Horses Healing Heroes

The 22nd of every month, from 6pm - 8pm, we are holding a simple get together for Veterans, First Responders and Law Enforcement at the farm. This is not intended for riding and is FREE of charge. We also welcome our heroes to bring their families and children as they are their support system. What we will do is interact with the horses on the ground, groom, give treats, teach a little about horses and safety around horses, observe and talk about how the horses interact with each other and how that relates to how we interact with one another. All will be held in our 14,000 SF indoor arena (largest in Lycoming County). We will provide some refreshments but ask visitors to bring a plate if they are able and make it a really great get together for all who show.

Elysian Fields Equestrian Center (EFEC), located in Montoursville, PA is introducing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) as part of our services. The program is pending 501(c)(3) non-profit status and will be called Heroes Helping Horses | Horses Healing Heroes (6H).
