Stop Motion Story Time Camp
June 10-14⋅9:00am – 12:00pm

Create films using stop motion software! Campers will explore creative story-telling through the creation of their own unique settings and characters. Well known books and artists will be used as inspiration to help children get their imagination going! This camp is taught by Kelly Elementary art teacher, Katie Momose. Grow it, Eat it!
Wednesdays, June 12-August 14⋅9:00 – 11:00am

Funded by a Lindig Foundation Fund at FCFP grant and in partnership with 4-H and the Penn State extension Master Gardener program, this drop off camp (leave the kids and go to the Lewisburg Farmers’ market) will explore gardening, aquaponics, cooking, and nutrition. Children will raise produce from seed to plant, experiment with vermiculture (worms!), prepare and enjoy snacks with fresh produce, and much more! At least two field trip sessions will be held at the Lewisburg Community Garden and Bucknell Farm. On field trip days, parents are responsible for transporting children to and from appropriate field trip site(s). Younger siblings are invited to enroll if a parent is able to remain on site for the duration for the program. 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Free membership to the Union County 4H will be offered as part of this camp.

DiscoverE: Engineering 101 Camp
June 17-21⋅9:00am – 12:00pm
Are you ready to think like an Engineer? Explore different engineering disciplines, while learning how engineers tackle the many problems that people face every day. Engineering 101 is an opportunity for students to be immersed in the vast variety of engineering disciplines like food science, consumer products, electricity, scribble bots/bristlebots and mechanical day. Explore Nature: The Best of 4H
July 8-12⋅9:00am – 12:00pm
Do you love nature and being outside? Children entering grades 2nd-5th will explore the great outdoors as they learn camping basics, wildlife tracks and habitat creation, forestry, fishing “casting” practice, and more! Each day we will dig into a different topic with arts and crafts, games, museum exploration, and physical activity. There will be something for everyone! 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Music's the Balm Class

Music's the Balm celebrates family music-making with Music Together Family Class, a 45 minute internationally renown movement and music experience shared by all kinds of families with young children. Music the Balm's instructor, Ms. Rachel, guides your family as they sing, dance, play instruments, chant, and find your silly side along with other families, making a music experience designed to inspire your youngster's development. For infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, Music Together gives you, the parent/caregiver, the tools to explore music's elements with your kiddo and a fun, lighthearted space to bring love and expression into music-making. Join us for family time that your child will crave!

STEM@LCM: Chemistry is Cool!
July 15-19⋅1:00 – 3:45pm

Children will learn about different fields of Chemistry though fun demonstrations and hands-on experiments and activities during this 5 day Chemistry camp. Modeled after Bucknell University's own Chemistry Camp, participants will explore: Forensic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and of course, Food Chemistry! My First Art Camp
July 22-26⋅9:15 – 10:00am

This mini camp will focus on process oriented art activities that introduce and reinforce self-expression, elements and Principles of Design, and materials and techniques. Movement for Beginners Camp
August 5-9⋅9:00 – 9:30am

Movement for Beginners camp at the LCM will be an introduction to creative movement and thinking for beginner dancers. Creative movement themes will include animals, directions, shapes, hand games, and various types of dance. Children 3-5 years old are welcome to participate.
