Box of Light: Stop Motion Animation with Legos and Clay
Sunday, July 28⋅2:30 – 3:45pm
Whether you are a Lego maniac or a budding sculptor, this class is for you. You’ll create a stop motion movie using the materials of your choice. Learn how to create fluid movement, phrase your action, and punctuate your film with sound effects. This hands-on class is fun, active, and collaborative. Plant Spotlight: T is for Teaberry and Tasty!
Saturday, August 3⋅11:00am – 12:00pm
Join us for this extra TASTY plant spotlight as we talk about the Teaberry plant. Find out where it lives, what it looks like, and how exactly it TASTES by enjoying a sweet sample! This program is sponsored by The Purple Cow and is free with general admission while supplies last. Recommended for all ages.

The world is waiting to read (and listen to, and watch) your digital book. This class will introduce you to the wonderful world of iBook creation. Create a short story and decide the best way to tell it using words, page layout, sound, video and stop motion animation. This is a wonderful activity that will expand your idea of the many ways a story can be told. The class is loaded with art, language, and 21st century learning skills. Kidz in the Kitchen: Unicorn Trail Mix
Saturday, August 10⋅11:00 – 11:30am
Calling all Kidz to the Kitchen- make a big batch of Unicorn Trail Mix! Children will measure, mix, and taste this yummy mix and take home a sample bag. This energy filled snack will surely keep all the princes and princesses playing for hours. This program is free with general admission while supplies lasts and recommended for children ages 3 and up. *This recipe contains peanuts. Individuals with food allergies please be advised.

Tie Dye at LCM
Saturday, August 17⋅12:00 – 1:00pm
Are you ready to tie-dye, dude! Registered participants will tie dye a t-shirt in preparation and celebration of Lewisburg Arts Council’s Lewistock, to be held on Saturday, August 24th. Pop! Back to School Time Capsule
Monday, August 19⋅10:00am – 12:00pm
POP back to school by making a 2019/2020 time capsule! Write down some of your interests and store your favorite things to be closed up and saved until the end of the school year when you can open it again. How much will YOU change during the school year? This program is free with general admission and recommended for children ages 5 and up.

Saturday Story Time: 'Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!'

Join us for a silly back to school story time as we read 'Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!' by Mo Willems with a fun craft to follow. This program is free with general admission and recommended for children 3 and up.

Dino Day
Saturday, August 31⋅11:00am – 3:00pm
Are you ready for a pre-historic day of FUN! Make dinosaur fossils, participate in a dino dig, design a dinosaur mask, and identify dinosaur tracks. This program is free with general admission while supplies last and recommended for children ages 4 and up.


POP!@LCM: Paper Circuits
Monday, September 2

Let your imagination run wild with this STEAM based activity! Choose or design your own 'light up' picture: a jar of fireflies, a robot, or a night time sky. The possibilities are endless! This program is free with general admission, and recommended for children ages 5 and up.
 

Healthy Choices 101
Saturday, September 7
We are making good choices to keep our bodies strong, healthy, and fit! Athletes from the Bucknell University’s Women's Rowing team will be here to help us make healthy snacks, identify what kinds of sugary foods to avoid, and learn exercises we can do to keep our bodies fit and strong! Program is free with general admission and is recommended for children ages 4 and up.

Saturday, September 7
Story Time: 'Horse Museum' by Dr. Seuss
Join us in celebration of Dr. Seuss's latest book release 'Horse Museum!' We'll read and giggle at this silly story and finish our program with a fun craft for all to make. Program is free with general admission and is recommended for children ages 3 and up.

Sunday, September 15
LCM Birthday Bash
YOU'RE INVITED to Lewisburg Children's Museum's Birthday Bash! In celebration of our doors opening two years ago, we'll have cupcake decorating and carnival themed games, as well as face painting followed by a puppet show by Kingdom Kidz. Event sponsored by Evangelical Hospital.

'Peace' it Together
It's the perfect time to celebrate Peace! Join us on International Peace Day for some hands on activities to support peace in our community and around the world. Program is free with general admission and is recommended for children ages 3 and up.

Saturday, September 28

Apple Pie Play-doh
Join us for a play-doh making session that smells as sweet as apple pie! Literally! Mix, cook, and knead the dough using some of your favorite fall time spices, and finish with a fun play session rolling out the dough and making a pie! Program is recommended for ages 4 and up. Registration is required and space is limited. Cost is $2 material fee plus general admission.
