BVRA's Parent's Night Out with Lewisburg Children's Museum
Friday, November 1⋅4:30 – 8:30pm
BVRA will be partnering with the Lewisburg Children's Museum to host a special parent's night out during Stroll Through the Arts in downtown Lewisburg. Kids will have time in the museum followed by pizza, popcorn, and a movie. Children ages 3-9 who are potty trained may attend this program. Pricing structure is as follows $25 for one child, + $10 for each subsequent child. More information or register at http://bvrec.org/parents-night-out/. Voting Booth Grand Opening
Saturday, November 2⋅10:30am – 12:30pm

Join us for the grand opening of our Vote LCM exhibit sponsored by The League of Women Voters of the Lewisburg Area Mauch Millennial Project. We'll kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30, then children can participate in a voter registration activity, followed by voting on new topics in our voting booth, and finish by making a 'future voter' craft. Parents, you'll even get a sneak preview of the new Union County voting machines and how they work. Program is free with general admission and membership and recommended for children 5 and up.

Blowing in the Wind: A Leap Into Science STEM Workshop
Tuesday, November 5⋅4:15 – 5:15pm
Let the wind blow you to the LCM for this STEM workshop! Air is everywhere- but how do we know it exists if we can't see it? Join us for this Leap into Science workshop and explore the properties of wind and air by designing a wind detector. Recommended for children 6-10 years old. Cost is $6 per child. Microbe Mania!
Saturday, November 9⋅11:00am – 12:00pm

Wanna know why it’s so important to wash your hands? Is there really “good bacteria?” Join us for Microbe Mania to find out! Learn about bacteria and other microbes through a yeast volcano demonstration; see how microbes interact in our stomach; and make a bacterial plate craft. Program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for children ages 5 and up.

OWL See You at the Museum!
Saturday, November 16⋅10:00am – 12:00pm

Join us for a fun morning of crafts, music, and science focusing on our friend the owl! Families with young children will visit hands-on activity stations- PLUS enjoy a free demo class of Music Together with Miss Rachel. Music Classes will begin at 10:30am and 11:15am. Sign up will be available day of at the registration desk for the demo class on a first come, first serve basis. Program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for families with children up to 8 years of age.

Family Math Day
Sunday, November 17⋅12:00 – 2:00pm

Explore the world of mathematics and logic with the whole family! Investigate new math topics through different activities, logic challenges, games, music, and more. Explore and learn together! Family Math Day is hosted by Bucknell University Education majors. Program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for children in grades preK-5th.

Inside Electronics: Understanding Circuits
Sunday, November 17⋅3:00 – 5:00pm

Aspiring to be an engineer or scientist? Be inspired by joining Emily Bayuk, a junior Electrical Engineer at Bucknell University and the author of The Fundamentals of Circuits Made Easy, in an exciting, captivating book talk and circuit workshop at the Lewisburg Children’s Museum. She will guide participants through interactive demonstrations and circuit-related projects during this two hour workshop. Farm-to-Thanksgiving Table!
Saturday, November 23⋅11:00am – 1:00pm

It’s almost time for Thanksgiving! Do you know where your food comes from? Join us for this farm-to-table investigation that uses your five senses to prepare your Thanksgiving plate. Learn what foods are found right here in Pennsylvania and how farmers get your meal from the fields to your fork. Program is free with general admission or membership and recommended for children ages 4 and up.

Saturday Story Time: 'The Giving Tree'
Saturday, November 30⋅12:00 – 1:00pm

In recognition of Giving Tuesday on December 3rd, we'll be reading 'The Giving Tree' by Shel Silverstein and learning the true meaning of giving selflessly, with a craft activity to follow.
