Box of Light: Robotics Jr.
Wednesday, July 3⋅1:00 pm– 2:15pm

Build and program with LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 Robots! Learn to program basic motor movements and work with EV3 sensors. Part physics, part programming logic, all fun! Grow it, Eat it!
Wednesdays, July 3-August 15⋅9:00 am – 11:00 am

Sponsored by the Lindig Lewisburg Foundation Fund at First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania and in partnership with 4-H and the Penn State extension Master Gardener program, this camp explores gardening, aquaponics, cooking, and nutrition. Decoupage by Design
Saturday, July 6⋅12:00 pm – 1:00pm

Join us for this DIY program as we get messy with Mod Podge! Children will design and decoupage his/her own box to take home and store secret treasures inside. Recommended for children ages 4 and up. This program is sponsored by the Bucknell Community Engagement Fund and is free with general admission.

Explore Nature: The Best of 4H
Monday, July 8-July 13⋅9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Do you love nature and being outside? Children entering grades 2nd-5th will explore the great outdoors as they learn camping basics, wildlife tracks and habitat creation, forestry, fishing “casting” practice, and more! 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. Box of Light: Claymation

Like The Nightmare Before Christmas? Shawn the Sheep? Box Trolls? Then it’s time for you to learn how to make a stop motion animation of your own. We’ll show you how to make the inanimate world become animated! You add the sound and credits. This class is for those who like to sculpt, make art, and want to learn filmmaking. Music's the Balm Class

Music's the Balm celebrates family music-making with Music Together Family Class, a 45 minute internationally renown movement and music experience shared by all kinds of families with young children. For infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, Music Together gives you, the parent/caregiver, the tools to explore music's elements with your kiddo and a fun, lighthearted space to bring love and expression into music-making. KABOOM! Get into the spirit of July by watching some MAGIC milk fireworks! Explore the science of surface tension as we watch red, white, and blue colors burst to life when we add the secret ingredient! Join us to solve the magic milk mystery! Peaceful Panda Zen Gardens
Saturday, July 13⋅11:00 am – 11:30 am

Relax and clear your mind as we make a sensory-friendly zen garden. We'll add a special touch to each garden by placing a Tillandsia (or air plant) inside and learn how we can care for this unique plant species. Recommended for children ages 4 and up. Box of Light: Lego Maniacs Edition

Full STEAM Ahead Mini Camp

STEM@LCM: Chemistry is Cool!

Children will learn about different fields of Chemistry through demonstrations and hands-on experiments and activities. Saturday Story Time From Space

Calling all space enthusiasts! To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the moon, we have a very special story time from space! Listen as NASA astronaut Mike Hopkins reads 'Max Goes to the Moon' by Jeffrey Bennett, while aboard the international space station, with a fun craft to follow. Recommended for ages 3 and up. This program is free with general admission.

Box of Light: Green Screen Film

It’s time to fly ... or breathe underwater... or travel into outer space, with the help of a little film expertise, a green screen and your sense of adventure. The Harry Potter Invisibility cloak? POP!@LCM: StopMotion StoryTime
Monday, July 22⋅10:00am – 12:00pm

Create an animated film using a variety of 2D and 3D stop motion animation techniques! Choose a backdrop (created by Linntown Art Students) from timeless stories or works of art! Children will develop story ideas and narration for each short film. Ready, set, action! Recommended for children 6-12 years old. This program is free with general admission.
