Saturday StoryTime: Kid's Choice
Saturday, June 1⋅12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Join us for an exciting Saturday StoryTime where YOU choose the book. During the 'Your Vote Matters' program on Sunday, May 19th, children will cast vote to decide which favorite story time book will be read on Saturday, June 1st. A fun craft will follow story time. This program is free with general admission or membership. Recommended for children ages 3 and up.

POP! @ LCM: Funfetti Milkshake Slime
Thursday, June 6⋅1:00 – 1:30pm

What better way to kick off the first week of summer vacation than with some sweet smelling Milkshake Slime! Of course, we can't forget those sprinkles on top for an extra colorful kick. Registration is required and space is limited. Cost is $2 material fee plus general admission. Recommended for children ages 5 and up. Register at: Funfetti Milkshake Slime

Family Yoga
Thursday, June 6⋅10:00 am – 10:45 pm

Looking for a fun way to introduce your child to the many benefits of yoga? Join us as we stand tall in mountain pose, bark in down dog, hiss in cobra, and sway in tree. We will focus on using our breath to connect our bodies through basic yoga poses that you and your child can learn and practice together at home. Our class will end with a mindfulness meditation to center and quiet our “monkey minds.” Whether you’re brand new to yoga or you’ve been practicing for years and would like to involve your family, all are welcome (just bring mats)! This class is for parents and children (3-5 years old). Cost is $15 per parent/child pair and $5 per each additional participant. Museum admission is not included. Ocean Commotion
Saturday, June 8⋅12:00 – 2:00pm

Want to learn more about the commotion happening in our oceans? Join us on World Ocean Day for STEM activities about rising tides, the density of saltwater, and how pollution affects our ocean animals. We'll even make some cool coral reefs to take home! This program is made possible in part by a generous donation from the NISE Network and is free with general admission or membership. Recommended for children ages 5 and up.

STEM@LCM: Space Explorers
Sunday, June 9⋅1:00 – 2:00pm

It's all about Space at Lewisburg Children’s Museum! Explore three different stations and soar into outer space! Visit the moon and find what’s hiding on its surface, observe the sun through a solar scope, and make a pocket solar system! This program is made possible by a generous donation from the NISE Network and is free with general admission or membership. Recommended for children ages 4-8.

Stop Motion Story Time Camp
Monday, June 10- Friday, June 14⋅9:00am – 12:00pm

Create films using stop motion software! During this week long summer camp, children will explore creative story-telling through the creation of their own unique settings and characters. Please bring a cell phone, ipad, or tablet to class; there will be a limited number of devices available to share. Recommended for children ages 7-14. Kids Yoga
Thursday, June 13⋅1:00 – 1:45pm

Looking for a fun way to introduce your child to the many benefits of yoga? Join us as we stand tall in mountain pose, bark in down dog, hiss in cobra, and sway in tree. Nature Spotlight Series
Saturday, June 15⋅12:00 – 2:00pm

Join us for our Nature Spotlight Series as we feature a plant and and animal that are VERY HANDS OFF. We'll talk about our friend the porcupine and his many interesting characteristics, as well as examine a real poison ivy plant to learn how to identify this plant in nature and stay away! This program is included with general admission or membership. Recommended for children ages 4 and up.

DiscoverE: Engineering 101 Camp
Monday, June 17-Friday, June 21⋅9:00am – 12:00pm

Are you ready to think like an Engineer? Explore different engineering disciplines, while learning how engineers tackle the many problems that people face every day. Engineering 101 is an opportunity for students to be immersed in the vast variety of engineering disciplines like food science, consumer products, electricity, scribble bots/bristlebots and mechanical day. Different activities and demonstrations will be provided every day. Recommended for ages 5 - 12 years old. Learn more and register at: Engineering Camp

Fairy Gardens
Saturday, June 22⋅11:00am – 12:00pm

Back by popular demand! Design your own special fairy garden using rocks, soil, succulent plants, and more! Registration is required and space is limited. Cost is $3 material fee plus general admission. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Register at: Fairy Gardens

LCM Rocks!
Saturday, June 29⋅1:00 – 3:00pm

Design and paint a special rock to display in our courtyard! Paint a face, an animal, or just an abstract design to brighten up the entrance of the museum. You can even paint one to take home! This program is free with general admission or membership. Recommended for children ages 3 and up.
