Bloomsburg Children’s Museum Hosts Second Annual Edible Book Contest on July 28

The Children’s Museum, 2 West Seventh Street, Bloomsburg will host its second annual edible book contest on Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Museum.

Playing with your food has never been so fun. The contest is free to enter, but entrants must register before July 23. Family-friendly titles only, please.

Win a prize for yourself ($100 restaurant gift card top prize) AND win cash for a participating library ($100 cash top prize). Participating Libraries include: Bloomsburg Public Library, Columbia County Traveling Library, Orangeville Public Library and McBride Memorial Library.

Entries must be over 50% edible and can be a replica of a book, a pun on a book, or represent a book’s theme. You don’t have to enter to enjoy this fun competition. Entries will be on display from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on July 28.

The Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization with a mission to enrich the lives of people in the 10-county region by fostering a lifelong love of learning through interactive programs and exhibits that bring out the imagination in every child and the child in every visitor.
