Baby Discover
Fridays through August 11 – 11:00 am
Stories, nursery rhymes and finger plays for babies up to one year old and their parents or caregivers. Young toddlers are also welcomed. Held every Friday of the month.

Toddler Discover
Tuesdays, & Wednesdays through August 9 – 9:30 am
This weekly story time is for children three to five years-old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities along with a craft. Toddler Discover will start back up again Tuesday, August 29 and will meet only on Tuesdays.

Preschool Discover
Tuesdays through August 8 – 10:00 am
This weekly story time is for children 3 to 5 years old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities along with a craft. Registration is required so that enough materials are provided. Register today by calling 570-523-1172 or visiting the library.

Play-K
Tuesdays & Thursdays, August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17 – 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
A series of programs that allow children entering kindergarten to “play kindergarten” using activities and materials around themes that align with PA early learning standards. This program funded by the Cruise Into Kindergarten initiative with materials and curriculum provided by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. Kids in the Garden
Mondays, 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Meets every Monday until August 7th
Ms. Kim and Ms. Pat show children how to plant seeds and take care of a garden. Enjoy gardening games and activities. At the end of the summer, a kids’ garden party is held that features the vegetables that are harvested. Children can bring their own watering can if they like. Don’t Lose It – Reuse It!
Wednesdays, 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Meets every Wednesday until August 2nd
Turn recyclables into new useful items. Each week features a different project. Class size is limited to 15. The August 2nd session of "Don't Lose it, Reuse It!" is open for children to play the cardboard arcade games that were made on July 26. Lego Animators Club
Thursdays, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Meets every Thursday until August 3rd
This eight week program guides children ages 6-12 through creating a stop motion Lego movie. Kids work in groups to create a movie and all completed movies are premiered during our last club meeting on August 3rd. Register today by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library or registering online.

Eclipse Extravaganza
Monday, August 21 – 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
