Stories, nursery rhymes and finger plays for babies up to one year old and their parents or caregivers. Young toddlers are also welcomed. Held every Friday of the month.

Toddler Discover
Tuesdays, 9:30 am
This weekly story time is for children three to five years-old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities along with a craft.

Preschool Discover
Tuesdays, 10:00 am
This weekly story time is for children 3 to 5 years old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities along with a craft. Registration is required so that enough materials are provided. Register today by calling 570-523-1172 or visiting the library.

Maker Madness
Wednesday, October 18 – 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Need to unwind after school? Looking for a homeschool extension? Visit the library to get your make on. Children experience a mix of maker challenges and free maker days to design, create, and discover using various materials. For children ages 7-12. Registration required. Class size limit 15. Super Simple Science
Thursday, October 19 – 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
This six-session series features simple science projects for children in grades K-3. This month’s theme is “Electricity.” This program occurs on the third Thursday of the month. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library or registering online.

Crazy 8s Math Club
Thursday, October 26 – 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Crazy 8s, for children in 3rd through 5th grade, is a collection of math activities that gets kids to think of math as play. Parents are asked to register their children so that enough supplies are provided. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library or registering online.

Germ City
Tuesday, October 24 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Join Kim Auman and Candice Henley, Geisinger Nurse Educators, to learn about germs! Children watch a short video and then explore the germs that lurk on their hands using a special lotion and black light. Fun for all ages! Halloween Party

What’s the Big Idea?

A monthly STEM program uses stories to focus on science and math skills for pre-K and kindergarten children and their families. This month's theme is "Colors." Cradle: Yoga for Fertility
Saturday, November 4 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Using a combination of breathing techniques, visualization, and movement, Leanne Matullo of Yoga Dear, teaches how yoga can support the fertility journey. This session is perfect for women who seek to prepare their bodies for a baby, to regulate their cycle, and those undergoing fertility treatment. All levels of yoga welcome and no experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat! No registration required.




Read, Build, Play!
Monday, November 6 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Children 5 and under are invited to try some hands-on, minds-on Lego Duplo fun! The first Monday of the month, children experience a themed story followed by a time to build and bring the story to life. Lego Night
Thursday, November 9 – 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Whether you're a great Lego builder or a first timer, this is the place for you! Work on your own creation or build together as a team. The library provides the Legos, while the kids provide the imagination. All materials must stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your creations, which are displayed in the library until the next Lego night. Lego club meets the 2nd Thursday of every month.

Discover Our Big World by International Women's Club of Lewisburg
Saturday, November 11 – 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Girl Scouts STEM Mobile

Explore robotics with the Girl Scouts as they visit the library in the STEM mobile. The mobile STEM lab is packed with hands-on, innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) exploration from robotics to virtual reality!
