Kids in the Garden
Mondays, 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Meets every Monday until August 6th

Ms. Kim and Ms. Pat show children how to plant seeds and take care of a garden while enjoying gardening games and activities. At the end of the summer, a kids’ garden party is held that features the vegetables that are harvested. Children can bring their own watering can if they like. Toddler Discover
Tuesdays, 9:30 am

This weekly story time is for children one to two years-old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities. Sign language is included in some sessions. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library or registering online.

Preschool Discover
Tuesdays, 10:00 am

This weekly story time is for children 3 to 5 years old and their parents or caregivers and includes stories, flannel boards and activities along with a craft. Baby Discover
Fridays, 11:00 am

Stories, nursery rhymes and finger plays for babies up to one year old and their parents or caregivers. Young toddlers are also welcomed. Held every Friday of the month. Register to attend by calling 570-523-1172, visiting the library or registering online.

Story Time at the Grower’s Market
Friday, July 6, 13, 20, & 27 – 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

Songs, stories, activities, and crafts held under the tent at the outdoor Susquehanna Valley Grower's Market. No registration required.

DIY Instrument: Mini Lid Banjos
Wednesday, July 11 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Maker's Space: Egyptian Sistrum
Wednesday, July 18 – 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Drum Circle
Thursday, July 19 – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

DIY Instrument: Popsicle Stick Harmonica
Wednesday, July 25 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Instrument Petting Zoo presented by Robert M. Sides
Monday, July 30 - 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Are you interested in learning to play an instrument? Are you just curious about what it is like to play a certain instrument? Join us for an Instrument Petting Zoo at the library! The professional staff of Robert M. Sides introduces and helps participants explore the various instruments which can be handled and played. All ages are welcome.
