Bloomsburg Childrens Museum




Complete a registration form for each camper and pay in full to reserve your space. Registration forms are available on our website and at the Bloomsburg Children's Museum. Scholarships are available, call the Bloomsburg Children's Museum for details.


If you cancel at least two weeks before the first day of camp, you will receive a full refund, minus the processing fees. If you cancel less than two weeks prior to the first day of camp, you will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be given if you cancel after camp has begun.


An adult is required to chaperone each preschool camper. Only registered campers are allowed in the camp. Infants, toddlers and older siblings may not come to camp. Childcare with an additional adult must be arranged for infants, toddlers, and older siblings that would like to visit the museum.


Painting and Drawing Camp I & II

Painting and Drawing Camp I:  June 24th - 28th, 10:00AM - 1:00PM


Painting & Drawing Camp II:  July 29th - August 2nd, 10:00AM - 1:00PM


Your young artists ages 6-12 will scribble, splatter, and create! This camp is all about learning how to draw and paint. From using teeny tiny to larger than life, we will be exploring every surface using brushes, pencils, and the unexpected! Presented by Art Space member and artist, Sara Mika. Two dates, same great camp!

Superhero Art Camp

July 8th - 12th, 10:00AM - 1:00PM


Get your capes, masks, and art superpowers ready! Campers ages 6-12, come along on this creative journery as we will be painting, drawing, and imagining our way through the world of superheroes. Ends with a public art show and reception. Presented by Laura Knorr.

Maker Camp

July 15th - 19th, 10:00AM - 1:00PM


What do soldering, 3D printing, sculpture, electronics, painting, laser cutting, food, and hammers all have in common? MAKER CAMP! Makers ages 6-14 explore, experiment and play. They are inquisitive hands-on learners who like to try new things! Ages grouped by activity. Taught by Dr. Ginny Weibel.

American Girl Camp

July 22nd - 26th, 10:00AM - 1:00PM


Campers ages 6-12 with their dolls, (any kind of doll or stuffed animal) will discover adventures a-plenty in this camp full of miniature projects and friendships. Ends with an American Girl Party. Presented by Laura Knorr.

Adobe Special Effects Teen Workshop

August 6th - 9th, 2:00 - 3:30PM


This is designed for young filmmakers ages 13 and up who want to learn how to create special effects using Adobe Premiere. Students will be introduced to chroma keying, (green screening), composition, key framing and more. Learn how to grow, shrink, disappear, fly and explode on screen. No advanced knowledge of Premiere is needed for this class. Taught by Box of Light staff.

Music and Movement Around the World

August 6th - 9th

Camp A: 10:00 - 11:00AM; $50.00/Child

Camp B: 11:15AM - 12:15PM; $50.00/Child

Campers ages 3-5 will celebrate and explore the languages, rhythms, tonalities and instrumentation from music around the globe. Create your own instruments and discover how important and beneficial active music-making can be to your young child's life.
