Downtown Sunbury

City of Sunbury Santa Parade-    November 23, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The parade will form on Raspberry Avenue near the Daily Item Press Building at 6pm and step off at 6:30pm. It will travel on 10th Street to Market Street to Cameron Park. 

Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available in Cameron Park while supplies last. Santa Claus will be visiting with children in his “home away from home” next to city hall.

Sunbury Shop Small Saturday Kick-off-    November 24, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Pick up everything you need for SmallBizSat at the Sunbury Revitalization Welcome Station before you Shop Small! Join us for free giveaways, light refreshments, and drawings. Support our small business community!

Late Night Shoppers-    December 6, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This event includes carriage rides, crafters set up inside local shops throughout downtown selling their handmade crafts, live music, carolers, and downtown retailers open late! Bring you family out for some holiday magic right in the heart of downtown Sunbury!
Late Night Shoppers, always the first Thursday of December, is an annual event that promotes community, celebrates the holidays and offers holiday shoppers an opportunity to support local businesses and area crafters.

  • Market Street businesses stay open late and offer holiday treats and special discounts to shoppers
  • Dozens of crafters & vendors will be set up at indoor Downtown Sunbury locations.
  • Free horse drawn carriage rides around Cameron Park
  • Carolers throughout downtown
  • Visit with Santa at Cameron Park
  • Holiday Music
  • Raffle drawings for gift certificates to Downtown Sunbury businesses

Sunbury City Band Holiday Concert- December 17, 7:00 PM

The Sunbury City Band will present its 2018 Holiday Concert at the Zion Lutheran Church in Sunbury. This will be a benefit concert for the Shikellamy band program. Donations will go to their band program which recently lost their band truck in a fire. Students from the Shikellamy band will participate in our concert!
