"Tree Season" Events at Kohls Stony Hill Tree Farm


Kohls Stony Hill Tree Farm hosts seasonal events. Listed below are a few of the highlights that families can join in during our Christmas season.

 

November 24-26: Holiday Open House at Kohl’s Stony Hill Tree Farm
Kohl’s Christmas Shoppe will host our annual open house with door prizes from the local crafters and free ornaments with the first 50 trees sold. Santa will be at the farm on November 25th from 10am-2pm with gifts for the children.
Visit our 12,000 square feet Christmas Shoppe with over 80,000 ornaments, handmade crafts from local crafters, a huge selection of wreaths in sizes from 6 inches to 6 feet, swags up to 72 inches, grave blankets, stone toppers, pine rope, log boxes, centerpieces, and greens. We also have PA’s Largest Christmas Tree Stand Collection! This impressive and unique collection features over 1,100 stands from all over the world from the 1800’s to the present. Choose and cut your own Christmas tree from our many acres of trees or pick from a large selection of fresh pre-cut trees.
 

"Tree Season" Events

>   Ugly ornament sale.   We are going to pick out at least 60 of the ornaments that our staff consider UGLY.  Should you have one of those in your purchase we will give you 30% off you entire purchase.  Once the ornament has been purchased it will be removed from our Ugly Ornament list.  Your savings will be limited to only the items you have at the time we are checking you out.  This might be the one & only time we ever run a sale on our goods so take advantage of it.

>     Pre-season tree tagging beginning September 1 and can be done anytime the corn maze is open or by appointment. (570) 204-2995

>        Santa will be at the farm on November 25th with gifts for the children. 10am till 2pm - watch Facebook for other dates and times.

>        The farm will host our annual open house on November 25th, 26th ,  27th door prizes being provided from the local crafters.   Free ornaments with the first 50 trees sold.

November 30: Special Needs Night. Santa is going to be at the Christmas Shoppe on November 30 from 5 till 8. We are doing this as a special needs night with anticipated smaller crowds. Stop by and enjoy his presence. Like always, he has a bag full of goodies for the kids and we will take pictures and post them to Facebook where you can download them for free. You are welcome and encouraged to take pictures yourself as well. Please "share" this even with those that you know that might be able to come and see Santa.


>     Santa hat days.  December 4-5. Kids 12 (we have been known to hat some older kids too) and under receive a free Santa hat.  Bring your cameras along - this is a great photo op.

>        Proud provider of wreaths to “Wreaths for Warriors” since 2006.  A local effort to place wreaths on over 75 cemeteries in Northumberland, Snyder, Montour, and Union counties for our local heroes.  The wreaths will be distributed from a central location near Northumberland on the afternoon of December 9th  (the Sunday closest to Pearl Harbor Day) to be taken to the different cemeteries.  A police escort will lead the group into the Riverview Cemetery in Northumberland.  Volunteers are needed to place wreaths.  Contributions to buy additional wreaths can be made at any Kohl’s Stony Hill Tree Farm or Kohl’s Market locations along with other local businesses.  For more information please call Stan Kohl @ (570) 204-2995.

Closed Christmas Day.
