The Union County Historical Society hosts Paul Metzger for a discussion and book signing of "Deeds of The Valley: The Land That Became The Ordnance" at Barnes & Noble Community Room, Market Street, Lewisburg, on Sunday, March 31 at 2 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.

Paul Metzger, author of "Deeds of The Valley,' has written an extensive account of the land affected by the TNT plant construction at Alvira. If you have a copy of the book, please bring it with you for signing by the author. "Deeds of The Valley" will not be available for sale at this discussion, however, it will be available for purchase from the historical society. Please inquire at or 570-524-8666. This discussion follows the documentary movie at the Campus Theatre on 3/31. Prior attendance at the movie is not necessary to enjoy the discussion.
