4:00-5:30 pm – Hidden Lewisburg Walking Tour
We've been offering Hidden Lewisburg tours for the past couple years, looking at different parts of downtown, both on foot and by bike.  This time around it will be a walking tour.  The winter tours last year were quite chilly, so please dress appropriately!  We will both start and end indoors to combat the cold.  The focus will be on the North Ward Neighborhood in the northeast quadrant of downtown, including both Market St and riverfront areas. RSVP appreciated, but not required.  Call 570-523-0114, email elmstreet@windstream.net or text 781-366-0726. Sponsored by Lewisburg Neighborhood Corporation. lewisburgneighborhoods.org

Chocolate Tour

The walking Chocolate Tours are a delicious highlight of the weekend! Sample handpicked chocolate treats from local stores Friday, February 7th from 5-8pm and Saturday, February 8th from 1-5pm. Walking tour tickets are $10 and can be purchased online . They will also be sold at Barnes & Noble during the event times. Visit www.DonaldHeiter.org for more information.

Saturday, February 8

9:30 am, Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Frosty 5K. Event starts at the historic Campus Theatre.

This run/walk is perfect for those adventurous types looking for something healthy and fun to do in the dead of winter to battle the dreaded "Cabin Fever". This is an "All-Weather" event. That means we go rain, snow, sleet or ice. That's the fun of a winter run! The course will take you around the historic and beautiful streets of Lewisburg and along the edges of the Bucknell University campus.

10 am -2 pm, Lewisburg Sunset Rotary Children’s Games, Hufnagle Park. FREE!

Warm your Hearts at Brushstrokes, 340 Market Street.
On February 7, 8, and 9 during the Lewisburg Ice Festival, Brushstrokes is accepting donations and supplies for local animal shelters and rescue groups. Items needed are pet food, clean blankets, collars, leashes, dog and cat toys and treats, beds, towels, cleaning supplies and of course dollars are welcomed too. We empty our display windows and then hope the donations fill them up. This has been going on since 2009 and besides all the material donations we have handed out over $13,500!!! The last 6 years have included an art incentive. Our artists and friends create little original animal paintings. For a $25 donation you can pick which one you would like to take home. We line them up on one of our fireplace mantles, post them on our Facebook page and they start finding homes. It is quite fun! When they are gone they are gone!Items and funds will be distributed to the Danville SPCA, Mostly Mutts, Far Point Animal Rescue, Haven to Home, Far Point Collie Rescue, and Arthur’s Pet Pantry (they provide food to the needy so that they can keep their pets - awesome!). This winter you can "Warm Your Heart" during the Ice Festival by helping local pets in need. Drop off donations and supplies on Feb 7, 8, and 9 at Brushstrokes Gallery, Art Supplies and Framing, 340 Market St., Lewisburg. Special Sunday hours 11-4 for this event. 570-523-7911 if you have any questions. We love Ice Festival Weekend and all the help the animals get - thank you!
