Market Street, Shamokin

The Anthracite Heritage Festival of the Arts kicks off at 6:30 with twilight cemetery tours followed by the hanging of luminaries on Market St.

Saturday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, vendors line Market Street offering over 100 vendors, historical tours, children's activities, educational exhibits, and ethnic food for a family fun-filled day in Shamokin.

The Anthracite Heritage Festival of the Arts was created to bring quality and diverse artistic styles, educational exhibits and entertainment to the region in an effort to promote the heritage of our communities and community pride.
