Wednesday, August 14 Noon - 4 PM Fun for the whole family!
A fun-filled afternoon of intergenerational activities including lunch and home-made ice cream, pony rides, animal exhibits, music, hands-on demonstrations, and more. Free admission.
Thursday, August 15 6:00 PM Program
Author Tom Rich will speak on Union County Mills. Reservations are recommended for the lecture as seating is limited (570-524-8666). Free admission.
Friday, August 16 Tour Groves Mills with Curt Falck
Saturday, August 17 10 AM - 4 PM Experience rural life in central Pennsylvania!
All day chicken barbeque and home-made ice cream; demonstrations of rural metalworking, woodworking and furniture making, masonry and pottery making, field work with horses and farm machines, and a demonstration of lifting and moving large stones 18th century-style. Experience the sights and sounds of antique machinery, open-hearth cooking, music, and more. Donation for parking requested. Come and stay the day! 40-50 activities of farm life from the past.
DIRECTIONS: From Route 15 in Lewisburg take Route 192 west 1.5 miles to Strawbridge Road, turn north and drive 1.5 miles to the site. Penn DOT signs are posted.
