Beaver Run Amish School Auction
September 7, 2013
9:00 AM
Twice a year, the Beaver Run Amish School in the Turbotville/Washingtonville area holds a HUGE outdoor auction that benefits their 5 local schools. Rain or shine!
Fun for the whole family - a dozen auctioneers in one place, selling dozens of items at one time, and acres and acres of goods to choose from - including household goods, live trees, antique furniture, and even animals (goats, chickens, peacocks and the like). The best part is - you never know what you're going to find.
Items include antiques, collecibles, new and old furniture, livestock, nursery stock items, farm equipment, tools, quilts, and so much more.
Food stands on site. Restrooms on site. Free parking.
Directions:
Take Interstate 80 to Exit 224 (Route 54 - Danville) and travel towards Turbotville/Washingtonville on Route 54 for approximately 7 miles. When you get to the light at the intersection with Route 254, turn RIGHT (Burkholder's Farm Market will be on the left). Travel for a half mile and turn LEFT onto PPL Road. You'll travel on this road for a few miles, passing PPL Utilities and a few local greenhouses. The auction will be on the right. By this point, you'll most likely be stuck in traffic, so follow the car in front of you to the parking lots. NOTE: Parking lot = farm field, so go slow when entering/exiting.
