MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center OPEN 1:00 TO 4:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

10:00 AM - Noon

Fishing Skills For Kids

            Kids and their parents are encouraged to learn about the basics of fishing at this fun program.  Meet at the BEACH HOUSE.  We have some equipment the kids may borrow so they need to bring nothing but an interested parent! 

 

4:00 PM - 4:45 PM

Wildflower Walk

Join us for an afternoon stroll in search of spring wildflowers.  Please meet at the Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center.

8:30 AM -9:45 AM

Songbird Walk

            The morning is filled with song...join us for a walk about the park as we search for the dawn chorus.  Please meet at the Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center.

Moles In The Pool

Kids of all ages who love frogs and salamanders, join us for a short story and a peek into a park pond.  Discover more about these fascinating critters at the Sheary-Linn Amphitheater next to the Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center.
