Experimental Video Show

Arts & Museum Exhibits

September 29, 2018 to November 9, 2018

The Exchange Gallery

The Exchange Gallery invited experimental video artists to submit short videos for our second video screening. We asked for digital videos in any style, on any theme and on any subject (or no particular subject at all), including animations and narrative shorts.

The Gallery’s volunteer jurors chose 80 works from among more than 360 submitted by 152 artists. By putting out the call for entries on Web sites that reach an international audience, the Exchange Gallery attracted work from a remarkable range of people across the globe, and accepted work comes from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and fourteen of the United States.

We will show selected videos at a screening on Saturday, September 29, 6-9 p.m. at The Exchange. All accepted works will then become the video exhibition from October 1 through November 9, alongside an exhibition by 2-D digital artist Glen Klein.
